TORNADO RELIEF FUND:

United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties has set up a long term recovery fund to aid in the process of rebuilding our community after the April 10th tornado that destroyed 150 homes in our community and severely damaged 230 others.  You may stop by any First Bank branch in the state of Tennessee to drop off your donation or you can donate online by clicking the GIVE tab.  To find the First Bank branch nearest you, visit www.firstbankonline.com100% of the donations will stay local to aid in tornado relief in Murfreesboro.

WELCOME TO THE UNITED WAY OF RUTHERFORD & CANNON COUNTY:

LIVE UNITED.  A credo.  A mission.  A goal.  A constant reminder that when we as individuals think outside ourselves, we have the power to facilitate change.  When we think of others lives as linked to our own, our compassion grows.  When we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all.  We build the strength of our neighborhoods.  We bolster the health of our communities.  And we change the lives of those who walk by us every day.

“LIVE UNITED” is about the power of unity.  For more than 50 years, United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties has been bringing people together to advance the common good for those around us.  United Way strives to help every individual maximize his or her potential through giving, advocacy, and volunteerism.  We invite you to aid in creating a lasting, positive impact in our community the “united” way.

Throughout this site, you will find ways in which you can become involved.  Whether by volunteering at one of United Way’s 48 partner agencies, serving on an allocation panel, helping to plan a special event, or leading an adult self-sufficiency class, each one of us has the ability to give back.

Become an advocate for something you believe in and reach out a hand for the good of us all.  Because simply put, the work of United Way of Rutherford & Cannon Counties is not possible without you.  On behalf of our local neighbors, co-workers, and friends whose lives are improved because of your generosity, we thank you.
